ABSP Team Registration Fees for 2021

TO ALL ABSP PARISH SOCCER COORDINATORS:

GOOD NEWS  ----  The Team Registration Fees and the Referee Fees for the 2021 Fall Soccer Season will remain at the same level as in the 2019 Fall Soccer Season.

TEAM REGISTRATION FEES:

As in 2019, the ABSP Team Registration Fees for 2021 will be $15.00 per team for the Under-8 Clinic Age Group and $50.00 per team for the Under-10, Under-12, and Under-14 Age Groups. 

The Fees will be due by the deadline for team registration in mid-August.

In July, you will be provided with a form to be submitted with the fee payment.

REFEREE FEES:

As in 2019, the Referee Fees for 2021 will be:

  • $40.00 per team per game for the Under-10 and Under-12 Age Groups (8v8)
  • $45.00 per team for the Under-14 Age Group (11v11).

The Referee Fees are paid to the ABSP at the beginning of the Season and the ABSP is then responsible for making weekly fee payments to the Referee Association based upon the actual referee coverage. 

The Fees will be due by September 13th.

In July, you will be provided with a form to be submitted with the fee payment.

PLEASE NOTE that the Referee Association has indicated that there will be a slight referee fee increase for the 2022 Fall Soccer Season. The amount of the fee increase for 2022 will be communicated to you when we are notified by the Referee Association.

CREDIT BALANCE - REFEREE FEE PAYMENT ACCOUNT:

The Treasurer maintains a Referee Fee Payment Account for each Parish Soccer Program to record the referee fee payments and the actual referee fee charges attributable to each Program. If the amount of a Program's referee fee payments for the season exceed the actual referee fee charges, a Credit Balance is created in the Account. This Credit Balance can then be used by the Program to offset either the Team Registration Fees or the Referee Fees for the following soccer season.

I will notify you within the next month as to the amount of the Credit Balance from the 2019 Fall Soccer Season, if any, in your Program's Referee Fee Payment Account and also provide you with a spreadsheet detailing the determination of the Credit Balance.
